Wild Dagga Flower Petals (Leonotis nepetifolia, Lions Tail)
Wild dagga traditionally used by the Xhosa and Hottentot tribe of South Africa is prized for its euphoric effects. Leonotis nepetifolia is also commonly called Lion’s Tail because of the Lion’s-tail-looking blossoms that grow from the ends of the plant. It contains the alkaloid, leonurine.
